Great Shows Coming to the Amherst Area

March 28 + 29: Vroom vroom! That is the sound of the Monster X Tour coming to town. Featuring high flying freestyle motocross, demolition derbies and, of course, the monster trucks, this is an exciting event for the entire family. April 23: Grammy award wining rock star Melissa Etheridge is making her way through town in April. Known for such hits as “I’m The Only One” and “Come to My Window,” Ms. Etheridge has released 11 albums, three of which went multi-platinum. Be sure to check out her show. May 3: Animal lovers are in for a treat when the SuperDogs show comes to town. Featuring experienced trainers leading ‘man’s best friend’ in numbers with jumping and dancing, this is a unique show for the entire family. July 11 & 12: Nothing says Summer like the Dave Mathews Band. The band has sold more than 30 million records worldwide and has recorded hits like “Crash Into Me” and “two Step.” Known for lengthy improvisational renditions of their songs while accompanied by an elaborate video and lighting show, the band is known for playing the songs differently each time. August 17: Ready for a throwback to end the summer? How about The Beach Boys?
